Sustainable Fabric Manufacturing

Apparel brands face increasing regulatory pressure for material traceability. S S Global provides verified recycled programs supported by international certification bodies. We do not just claim sustainability; we document it.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

Certified Recycled Content

Our GRS certification ensures that the post-consumer PET bottles are tracked from collection through the spinning, texturizing, weaving, and dyeing stages. We supply legitimate transaction certificates (TCs) for every commercial batch we run.

  • Verifiable post-consumer content percentage
  • Environmental processing and chemical restriction standards
  • Social compliance audit validations

Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Tested for Harmful Substances

Our standard dyed and finished fabrics conform to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (Product Class II - direct contact with skin). This certifies that all yarns, dyes, coatings, and finishing auxiliaries contain no harmful substances or carcinogenic chemicals.

  • Compliance with REACH and RoHS standards
  • Tested for pH levels, formaldehyde, heavy metals, and pesticides
  • Safe for everyday sportswear, linings, and dress applications

Traceability Workflow for Brands

When ordering recycled polyester (rPET) fabrics, we follow a strict chain-of-custody workflow to ensure your transaction certificates are issued correctly.

STAGE 01

Yarn Sourcing TC

We source GRS-certified post-consumer yarn. The spinner issues a Transaction Certificate (TC) directly to our Surat facility.

STAGE 02

Weaving & Dyeing

Fabrics are woven and processed under audited GRS water and chemistry parameters in our certified facility.

STAGE 03

TC Issuance

Upon shipment, our certifier issues a Transaction Certificate (TC) detailing the exact weight of recycled fabric supplied to the garment manufacturer.
